Plant Power Point Presentation
Reminder: Plants are not just flowers, they include bushes, trees, cactus, vegetable plants, etc.
BE CREATIVE; discuss more than just flowers.
New Slide: Under Home tab, Click on New Slide, Blank slide
Text Box: Under Insert tab, Click on Text Box, Draw text box
Insert Pictures: Open a new tab on your internet browser. Go to google images. Type in image name to search. Then click on picture, right click to "copy image." Go back to power point presentation. Right click on slide where you want the picture "paste." Grab side of picture to increase or decrease size.
Change Font and Color: Go to "Home Screen" Only change colors and fonts to make something stand out that is important for the reader to understand. Please do not change background color of slides.
Slide 1: Insert Title - "Plants" and everyone in your groups first name

For Slides 3 thru 5 use The Great Plant Escape website below. Case 1, 3, 6.
Slide 3: Plant Diagram 1. Write a summary. 2. Insert a picture and label parts of the plant 3. Write the purpose of each part.
Challenge: Do more than one plant. Example: A flower, a tree, and a bush

Slide 5: Benefits of Plants - Tell five reasons why plants are important. (make a list or write a summary)
Think about environment, people and animals.

Slide 6: Pollination - Write a summary: What is pollination? How pollination happens? Why is pollination important?
Slide 7: Pollinators - Write a summary: What animals are pollinators? How do they pollinate? Why do they pollinate? What is the importance of pollination?

Slide 8: Soil - Write a summary: What is soil? Why is soil important? What kinds of soil plants grow in?
Slide 9: Environment of Plants - Write a summary: How does environment help? Where do certain plants live? Why?
Slide 10: Interesting Facts - 5 to 10 facts
Slide 11: Your choice of topic. Examples; different types of plants, location of plants, different categories of plants, compare/contrast plants, explain an experiment we have done, research a new experiment and write how to do it,
